A grant given to the Tara Curling Club has been put to good use.
On Tuesday MPP Paul Vickers visited the club during the Arran-Tara Fall Fair Opening Ceremonies to see the work done of the $200,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The grant given last year was to support facility upgrades and sustainability improvements.
A new ice plant was installed to ensure the club remains safe, efficient and sustainable for members and the broader community.
Krista Gill with the Tara Curling Club says with the support they can continue this tradition and ensure the club thrives for future generations.
