There hasn’t been any slowdown for OPP as part of the annual Festive RIDE Campaign.
The increase of RIDE programs which began last month has laid almost 250 impaired driving charges across the West Region and another 43 warn range suspensions for drivers who failed a sobriety test.
The charges come from 1673 RIDE checks done so far, an increase from 1458 from the same time last year.
The campaign will continue until January 1st.
