A man has been charged after several vehicles were broken into in Hanover.
On June 15th, police were called about the vehicles parked at a seniors residence in the 100 block of 10th Street which were rummaged through.
Investigation found before 4am a man was seen walking through the parking lot checking vehicle doors and entered an unlocked vehicle stealing an amplifier valued at over $900.
The suspect was identified and while officers tried to arrest him, he fled on foot.
The man was later found on 12th Street hiding in bushes and taken into custody.
The 31 year old has been charged with Theft Under $5000 and Resisting Arrest.
The man was also found to be on bail conditions on several other property crimes.
