Saugeen Shores police have charged a 37 year old with fraud after promising snow removal services for the season.
Police say several residents in the area hired the suspect to clear snow for the year with $300 being paid before the services would be done.
It was then found out the suspect never attended the homes to do the job.
The 37 year old from Saugeen Shores has been charged with five counts of fraud under $5000.
Saugeen Shores police are reminding residents that paying for a service ahead of time is risky adding its best to use a service which will provide an invoice and bill once the job is done.
