Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 39 year old following an assault.
On June 17th at around 5pm OPP was called to an assault which had taken place on Purple Valley Road in South Bruce Peninsula.
Investigators were told the victim was hit on the head with the suspect fleeing the scene. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Police found the suspect shortly after.
The 39 year old of Georgian Bluffs was charged with assault with a weapon and failure to comply with a release order.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
