A 40 year old has been charged after trying to grab an officers gun.
On December 29th just before 3am, South Bruce OPP received a report of a snowmobile without lights was seen driving around Walkerton.
Officers eventually found a crashed snowmobile in the area of Bruce Road 19 and Concession 2 with the operator fleeing on foot.
The individual was eventually found at 6am and after a struggle including trying to grab a cops gun, the 40 year old man was arrested.
The accused was charged with Dangerous Operation, Resisting an Officer, Disarming an Officer and two counts of Operation while Prohibited.
