The Town of Saugeen Shores has received a hefty donation towards the new Aquatic and Wellness Centre.
The Summerside Hospitality Group, owner of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites and Staybridge Suites Port Elgin have pledged $50,000 to the new centre.
The centre is designed to be a regional hub for recreation and wellness offering an 8 lane competition pool, leisure pool, fitness centre, walking track, gym and multi purpose program rooms to serve those of all ages.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says this investment in our community reflects the spirit of partnership and a shared commitment to enhancing recreation and quality of life in Saugeen Shores.
