$529,500 Invested to Support Community Centres

9,500 Invested to Support Community Centres

The province is putting forward $529,500 to bring upgrades to the Lucknow Community Centre and Ripley-Huron Community Centre.

This comes from a $200 million investment from the Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund.

MPP for Huron-Bruce. Lisa Thompson says these upgrades will ensure both facilities continue to serve as safe, welcoming and modern spaces for residents of all ages to gather, stay active and take pride in their local facilities.

Funding will support the Lucknow Community Centre’s roof and provide the Ripley-Huron Community Centre by upgrading to a new ice plant and add more storage to the facility.
