A Port Elgin man is facing charges after a number of puppies were found abandoned.
Saugeen Shores Police were notified about several newborn puppies in and around Port Elgin this week.
A 36-year-old man was arrested and the investigation continues.
Police say the puppies along with their mother are being taken care of at a local animal shelter.
