One person has been charged in connection to arson at a restaurant in Bayfield back in 2023.
On October 17th, 2023 Huron County OPP responded to a call of a fire and upon arrival located a structure on the west side of Bluewater Highway north of the Bayfield Bridge.
The Bayfield Fire Department responded and extinguished the blaze with the damage valued at around $1.2 million.
On September 10th a 63 year old woman was arrested without incident.
The Stratford resident was charged with three counts of Break and Enter, three counts of Arson and three counts of Possession of Incendiary Material.
The accused will appear in Goderich court next month.
