It was a successful inaugural Lighthouse to Lighthouse Half Marathon in support of the Kincardine and Community Healthcare Foundation.
The marathon and 5k held on October 4th welcomed 500 registered runners from across Ontario and raise $93,000 in support of the Kincardine hospital expansion and mark Bruce County’s first MRI.
Race Director Sarah Foster says nearly 100 volunteers made the event possible and their municipal partners in Kincardine and Huron-Kinloss were phenomenal as staff went above and beyond to ensure a safe, seamless race.
The foundation looks forward to welcoming runners and supporters back in 2027.
