OPP across the West Region are launching a new enforcement campaign all around commercial motor vehicles.
Project Safe Haul will run until November 1st with a focus on enhancing road safety and reducing the risks associated with unsafe CMV’s.
Over this 3 week campaign, police across the West Region will be ramping up inspections at various locations to ensure drivers and complying with legislation and safety standards.
Defects such as brakes, tires, steering components, cargo measurement and driver compliance can lead to serious crashes and place other drivers at risk.
