The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority has handed out their next wave of Decade Awards. honouring the work of local land trusts.
Those recognized includes the Thames Talbot Land Trust, Huron Tract Land Trust Conservancy, Lambton Wildlife Inc and the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
The award recognizes the work of local land trusts, stewarding the gifts of generous and forward thinking donours, this being the 8th of 9 awards the ABCA is presenting this year.
Nathan Schoelier, ABCA’s Acting General Manager and Secretary-Treasurer says the work together strengthens the ability of land trusts, conservation authorities and donours to protect natural spaces for future generations.
