Beth Blackwell is currently running an online survey to give young people (between ages 12-18) a chance to share their experiences and ideas about how to improve the area.
The original plan was to hold consultation sessions, but the outreach had to be moved online after a close COVID contact.
Blackwell says early feedback shows a lot of youth don’t feel that their voices are being respected and that issues that are important to them – climate change initiatives, transportation, year-round activities – aren’t being addressed.
