It’s another day of a smoky sky with conditions expected to improve come Friday.
The North Huron Fire Department is advising residents while the ongoing wildfire smoke affects the area, there is not a burn ban in effect within their response area.
Given the dry conditions however, those who are outdoor burning are asked to take caution.
Agricultural and open air burning should be avoided until conditions improve with recreational fires being attended to at all times and conducted safely.
Those who choose to have recreational fires are reminded to keep a hose or water supply nearby along with a fire extinguisher and ensure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving.
