The Avon Maitland District School Board is making sure they can have before and after childcare providers for the school year.
As students are back in class next week, the board is working with a third-party to ensure there will be childcare provider options to support students and families who are working closely with partners in two sites where these challenges are more prominent.
Last August, London Bridge discontinued childcare services affecting 209 licensed spaces with the non profit citing staffing shortages.
The board says they appreciate the patience of families as staff continue to work with providers so they can expand access the communities.
