Archives Awareness Week Highlighting Rural Diaries and the History of Bruce County

On April 6th the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is hosting the annual Archives Awareness Week with this year highlighting the importance of rural diaries and what they share of Bruce County’s past.

During the week on April 2nd-6th Catherine A Wilson will join the museum to discuss the importance of the 19th and 20th century rural diaries as a window to the past.

Wilson, the founder of the University of Guelph’s Rural Diary Archive will highlight a selection of Bruce County’s history and their interesting stories.

The event is free to attend but pre-registration will be required.
