West Grey’s new automated waste collection program has started.
Garbage collection West Grey has now moved to the automated cart based system.
Residents are asked on your collection day to have your new cart out by 7am, place it at the curb with the lid closed and wheels facing your home and leave space around your cart so the trucks can safely lift and empty it.
With this change, residents are reminded bag tags are no longer accepted, waste must be inside the cart and the collection now being biweekly.
Those who want an additional cart will be able to purchase one for eligible properties.
