Garbage bag tags will be going up in cost in Ashfield-Colbourne-Wawanosh.
The township has announced a 50 cent increase this week, marking the first time the cost for tags has gone up since 2005.
Bag tags will now cost $2.50. In a release, the township says it has spent $218,240 on curbside service last year, bringing in over $100,000 in bag tag revenue.
