Bausch Health Canada is recalling all lots of Emerade Sterile Epinephrine auto injections in doses of 0.3 and 0.5 microgram doses.
The reason for the recall is that testing by the company identified the risk of possible device failure or it activating prematurely if dropped.
The affected lots of Emerade were distributed in Canada between April 2022 and May of 2023.

The devices are used to deliver an emergency treatment of epinephrine to patients who are at risk or have a history of serious allergic reactions.
Anyone with a recalled unit is asked to return it to your pharmacy for a suitable replacement as soon as possible.
