The Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board has approved the balanced 2026-27 budget.
This $132.3 million comprehensive financial plan reflects evidence based decision making and helping achieve 100 per cent compliance with Ministry of Education requirements.
This years budget reflects a direct response to public input gathered from the community who shared their top priorities over 14 survey questions.
The community showed classroom environment and front line staffing be a top priority to protect.
As such the board has made a significant investment by adding 17.9 Full Time Equivalent classroom teachers and 4 Full Time Equivalent Educational Assistants directly to schools.
Lori Di Castri, Chair of the Board of Trustees says this budget represents a deliberate approach to governance and one that pairs strict fiscal accountability with an unwavering dedication to our mission as a Catholic school board.
