Biosphere Association Celebrate Success of Its Conservation Projects

MPP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Bill Walker met with representatives from the Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association to congratulate them on the work they have done as a result of three grants they have received from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Province over the last 3 years.

The organization has seen success in it’s conservation efforts throughout the Northern and Southern Bruce Peninsula thanks to the OTF and Ontario funding, along with private sector support from locally based Caframo, Insurance company Wawanesa and the Lewko Family Foundation.

The Biosphere Reserve is one of only 4 United Nations designated reserves in Ontario.
