The Bluewater Recycling Association has had to speak out again with Christmas decorations being kept away from their bins.
Residents placing Christmas lights in the recycling bins has become a regular issue around this time of year including garland and tinsel and are considered garbage material.
The BRA says when Christmas decorations are thrown into recycling bins they pose the risk of entanglement and breakage and causing damage to recycling machinery.
