Brampton Mayor Brown running for Conservative Leadership

Patrick Brown has officially joined the race for the Leader of the Federal Conservative party.

Brown, who has been the Mayor of the City of Bramptons since 2018 launched his campaign today.

He is a former leader of the Provincial PC Party who resigned under a yet to be proven allegations. Brown and CTV, who reported it at the time, have since resolved a years long dispute over a defamation lawsuit he launched after a story that ran in 2018 caused him to resign his PC Party Leadership. The network admitted to factual inaccuracies in the story.

The vote for a new leader comes September 10th. Members have until June 3rd to sign up new members and the deadline to declare a candidate in the leadership race is April 19th.
