The County of Bruce issued a news release saying starting February 7th for six weeks, Moggie Valley will be harvesting timber in the area.
They say this is to improve forest health as part of the County’s Forest Management Plan.
To ensure a safe operation of the harvesting, the tract property including the parking lot, east and west forest access roads, and the trail network will be closed to the public until further notice.
The County says the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs have been notified and have created a detour around the tract.
