The Town of Saugeen Shores has received a sizable donation towards the new Aquatic and Wellness Centre.
The donation of $195,000 comes from the Breakers Swim Team to cover 75 per cent of the electronic pool timing equipment.
The swim team is a not for profit dedicated to developing competitive swimmers of all ages in Saugeen Shores and the surrounding area.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says it’s Breakers leadership, expertise and generosity will ensure the facility is not only a hub for recreation but also a destination for competitive swimming events.
