Britspan Building System Inc has pledged $500,000 towards the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation.
The donation spanned over five years brings a hefty boost the hospital’s Magnetic Moments capital campaign and closer to their $6.5 million goal.
This campaign aims to bring an MRI to the hospital, being the first the area as both Huron and Bruce County’s don’t have and MRI with closest ones being in London, Palmerston and Stratford.
Britespan Building Co-Owner Ben Hogervorst says they feel strongly that the addition of an MRI in Huron County will help ensure the facility remains vibrant and attractive in recruiting doctors while providing Huron County with outstanding care close to home.
