Bruce County announced the appointment of Christine MacDonald as the Deputy CAO of the County effective March 23rd.
The creation of the Deputy position is part of a corporate revisioning to effect chance that will allow CAO Derrick Thomson to further enhance overall corporate strategy, with a focus on increasing the County’s presence at the Provincial & Federal levels of government.
Toward that effect they have also created a new inter-governmental office within the CAO office.
MacDonald is the current Director of HR.
CAO Thompson says MacDonald is a changemaker and talented senior leader for Bruce County and he says he looks forward to working with her on operation & strategic initiatives.
