Bruce County is inviting residents to take part in Winter Commute Month over February.
This initiative helps encourage individuals to join Smart Commute and embrace the season, build sustainable habits which reduce the cost of travel and track their environmental impact along the way.
With Smart Commute, residents can connect to find or offer rides to and from destinations across the County and beyond.
Claire Dodds, Commissioner of Community Development for Bruce County says Winter Commute Month is a great reminder that no matter the season, we can make choices to share our commute to help connect people, share travel costs and improve sustainability.
Over February, each one way commute will enter in a random draw for a chance to win one of five $100 shop local gift cards.
