Janice Jackson says she hopes the More Homes for Everyone bill will expedite the planning process.
She says her municipality in South Bruce Peninsula are already pushing things through as quickly as possible.
Jackson says she likes the idea of offering new Canadians an incentive to own a home in rural communities.
Jackson says she is also aware about the concern of too much growth which may impede the natural surroundings of Bruce County.
The proposed legislation would see smart, targeted policies that address the process to get housing built faster and more easily while protecting home buyers, owners and renters.
