Bruce Power and Westario Power to partner on initiatives to reduce carbon emissions

Two of the region’s energy companies are teaming up to explore projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions.

Bruce Power and Westario Power announced on Tuesday that they have signed a memorandum of understanding.

Some of the proposed initiatives would include incentives for people to purchase electric vehicles.

Westario President and CEO Jenny Alfandary (second from right) says this partnership was a few years in the making.
