Bruce Power is a Platinum Sponsor at the International Plowing Match & Rural Expo that just kicked off in Bowling Green, Ontario in Dufferin County and runs through the weekend.
As a Platinum Sponsor, Bruce Power led the Opening Parade & Ceremonies and handed out nearly 2,000 cowboy hats to MPP’s and the public at the event.
The event is a 5-day celebration of agriculture and rural living. There are plowing competitions, range of activities for people of all ages, chances to learn about agriculture, live entertainment in multiple venues, and hundreds of vendors and exhibits.
The 104-year-old-event is a collaboration between the Ontario Plowmen’s Association and a local committee of volunteers. It attracts over 80,000 visitors every year.
