Bruce Power is matching donations with the Canadian Red Cross to provide assistance to the victims of wildfires, especially in Jasper, Alberta.
James Scongack, Bruce Power Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President says being in a small, tight knit community who also rely on tourism, its difficult to see the effects the wildfires are having in rural Alberta.
A goal of $40,000 has been set to help those in need.
Donations will be used for immediate financial relief including financial assistance and support to evacuees and the communities hosting them.
