Bruce Power and its supplier partners have pledge to help revive the Saugeen Amphitheatre grounds with a donation from the Community Development Fund.
The donation of $393,750 from the Saugeen Ojibway Nation Community Development Fund will help Saugeen First Nation with phase 2 of the Amphitheatre project.
This comes following a $500,000 donation last year from Kinectrics through the fund supporting the continued restoration of one of the largest dry stone projects in North America.
Saugeen First Nation Chief Conrad Ritchie says the project reflects the community’s vision of creating a place where people can gather, connect with the land, celebrate culture and create memories for generations to come.
