Bruce Power has been recognized for the second year in a row as one of Canada’s Best Employers for Diversity by Forbes Magazine.
The company was presented with the award following an independent survey from a vast sample of around 12,000 professionals from all industry sectors.
It is based on four criteria including direct recommendations where employees were asked to give opinions on age, gender, ethnicity, disability, general diversity and more, indirection recommendation, diversity among top executives & the board, diversity engagement indicators.
Bruce Power’s VP & Chief HR Officer Karen Smith says the recognition lets them know that although they recognize there is still work to do, they’re on the right track with their diversity, equity, and inclusion programming.
