Residents at Brucelea Haven Long Term Care Home in Walkerton did their part last Thursday walking and rolling in honour of Terry Fox for their leg of the Terry Fox Run raising funds for cancer research.
Brucelea Haven’s Resident Council Team was able to raise $330 through donations from friends, family and team members to support the Terry Fox Foundation.
Megan Garland, Bruce County Director of Long Term Care and Senior Services says residents and staff took inspiration from Terry Fox’s example of determination, perseverance and compassion raising important funds for cancer research.
