By-Law allowing Golf Cars on Specific Roads in Huron-Kinloss Approved

Announced today under a 10 year pilot project by the Ministry of Transportation, the Township of Huron-Kinless enacted a bylaw allowing golf cars on specific roads.

Anyone planning to operate a golf cart within the Township must register their golf car with Huron-Kinloss before using the roadway.

Under this pilot, the golf cars will be considered motor vehicles under the Highway Traffic Act and operators will be expected to follow the rules of the road.
