As construction of the new Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre in Saugeen Shores gets closer there are plans for the future of the existing Centennial Pool are underway.
Council this week gave the green light to move forward with a Purchase and Sale Agreement with the Bluewater District School Board for the Centennial Pool facility attached to Saugeen District Secondary who will purchase and re-purpose the space.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says they prepare for a new chapter of recreation in Saugeen Shores, they are thrilled to see this space re-imagined to benefit the youth of the growing community.
