Goderich residents may have noticed vehicles in town with mounted sensors monitoring traffic, this is part of the town’s Pavement and Sidewalk Condition Assessments.
Citylogix is conducting the assessments on the municipality’s roads, sidewalks and parking lots over the course of the week.
Citylogix employs vehicle mounted sensors to evaluate road conditions and use LiDAR and 360-degree imaging.
This data collected supports the municipality’s roads maintenance plan and enhances its municipal asset management program by effectively prioritizing repairs and capital road construction projects.
