United Way Perth Huron is reeling in the support after Coldest Night of the Year in Goderich.
With a goal of $150,000, the community poured in with $155,897 being raised.
All funds will stay local for Mid-Huron and help the Huron Homelessness Initative, a group of existing programs and services including emergency shelter for women escaping intimate partner violence, youth shelter supports, temporary emergency accommodation and supports including service navigation, stability work and transitional housing.
