The Foundation says the 10 grants awarded were to a diverse range of capital projects.
Home and Community Services received $10,000 to enhance the outdoor space for their programs in Port Elgin and Owen Sound.
Other capital projects addressed community health including the Hanover Community Players, Alzheimer Grey-Bruce, Ripley Agricultural Society and Women’s House Serving Bruce & Grey among others.
The Community Foundation Grey Bruce manages more than 165 endowed funds, compromising over $20 million dollars in community assets.
The grants disbursed are the generated income that comes from those assets that addressing quality of life in Grey and Bruce Counties.
