The Community Foundation of Grey Bruce has dished out a $25,000 grant to support Noongwa Wellness.
The facility is an Indigenous led family medicine and wellness center being established in Neyaashiinigmiing.
This grant will help support the development of an interim clinic and site improvements, increase access to culturally safe, community based health services while plans continue to work for a permanent facility.
Family Physician Elisa Levi says this support will help them provide care now ehile building towards their long term vision of Indigenous owned healthcare.
