Kincardine is launching this years round of the Community Improvement Plan Program with applications now open.
These incentive programs are designed to support investment, revitalization and the long term economic growth across town.
This year, council has set aside $100,000 towards the plan with the funds being directed to eligible initiatives which enhance the built environment, improve accessibility, support new and expanding businesses and advance housing, commercial and industrial development opportunities.
The first intake of applications will close on August 28th.
Mayor Kenneth Craig says by supporting start- ups, building improvements, and new housing opportunities, we are creating the conditions for strong, continued growth across Kincardine.
