The Huron County Museum shared word yesterday of a generous donation by Compass Minerals.
The $5,000 donation was in support of access to the history of Huron County for area students.
Staff say the money will mean they are able to continue offering free virtual field trips or free transportation for in-person programming to local school groups in 2023.
