Grey County will be closing a section of Grey Road 40 in eastern Grey Highlands starting tomorrow as part of two culvert replacement projects.
Two culverts were significantly damaged during a major summer storm last year with temporary repairs done at the time but continued heavy rainfall and spring runoff has further eroded the embankment and weakened the structures and leaving one in very poor condition.
During this work which is expected to last five weeks, the road will be closed between Grey Road 7 and Grey Road 13.
The project is expected to cost around $700,000.
