The Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund made its 163rd donation of a lifesaving defibrillator this morning in the Municipality of Bluewater.
The donation at Kerr’s Campground is in memory of Brucefield Fire Department Firefighter Kenneth Aikenhead who was killed in the line of duty in 1987.
The ceremony was attended by Ken’s mother and sister.
Kerr’s Campground is located on Bannockburn Line just south of Centennial Road in Varna.
The Dave Mounsey Fund is a non-profit organization that raises funds through various events in the community to honour fallen police, fire, paramedics and military members who were killed in the line of duty.
