Don Ferrell has retired from the Board of Directors for the Pine River Watershed Initiative Network.
Farrell has been a figure with the network since joining in 2009 who came in with an extensive farming background.
Don led the way for water quality enhancing projects.
Don along with the networks fencing specialist, Rick Jones were able to install 24kms of exclusion fencing preventing bank erosion on local streams.
The network in a statement says without Don’s valued leadership and guidance they wouldn’t have the success they have had today.
Murray Yungblut has been named as Farrell’s successor who has already proven to be a valued member of the Pine River Watershed Initiative Network.
