Bruce County is opening the doors of Brockton on Saturday allowing everyone to dive deep into historic sites across the area with the Doors Open Brockton Event.
Taking place from 10am-4pm, the Brockton Heritage Committee will highlight 12 local historic sites with some of which being normally not very accessible to the public.
The Walkerton jail is among those on the list which was operated for almost 144 years before closing in 2011.
The Cargill Museum, Brockton Heritage Committee Archives, Saugeen Masonic Lodge and Victoria Jubilee Hall will also be part of the event.
