The Municipality of Bluewater released their official list of candidates and eight members of office have earned their role by acclamation.
Mayor Paul Klopp and councillors Bill Whetstone for Bayfield Ward, Scott Harris for Hensall Ward and Peter Walden for Stanley East Ward are all returning to their roles. They will be joined by Hay East Ward Councillor Joseph K. Groot and Hay West Ward Councillor Tyler Hessel.
There was also two acclamations for School Board Trustee: Robert Hunking for the Avon Maitland District School Board and Sue Muller for the Huron Perth Catholic School Board.
As for what election options remain for October, residents still need to choose a Deputy Mayor, Councillor for the Zurich and Stanley West Wards, and trustees for the French Public and French Catholic board.
