Grey County is launching a new voluntary program celebrating local leadership in energy efficient resilient residential development.
Council supported the program at a March 26th meeting which will run in collaboration with Dufferin and Wellington Counties pending the support of their county councils.
The Green Development Program is expected to kick off this spring.
The Green Development Program will focus on development projects of 10 or more units, though developments of any size can apply.
The program includes three key components: metrics, recognition and capacity building.
